Do you also have this problem? You've memorized a lot of words, but your mind goes blank when you see a foreigner? You want to practice speaking, but you can't find anyone to practice with, and you're afraid of spending a lot of money on tutoring classes?
外語教學中心 hears your voice! To continue everyone's enthusiasm for learning, with the support of the Ministry of Education's "Bilingual Learning Program for College Students," we are continuing our English speaking classes this semester, bringing foreign teachers, foreign TAs, and the Fulbright team to our campus. We have created the most welcoming stage, just so you can have a practice environment where you can "speak freely."
Our sole purpose in investing these resources is to truly help you take the first step towards "daring to speak"!
📌 Recruitment Information
• Status: Domestic student of this university
• Level: Beginner English Speaking (A1–A2), suitable for those who "want to speak but are afraid to speak"!
• Reward: All participants who complete the course will receive English self-study points at the end of the semester.
Registration deadline: January 20, 2026 (once all places are filled)
🌟 Four themed courses – choose your "destined course"!
① 中央校區 | English Easy Talk
💬 Features: Just like chatting with a friend! Led by foreign teacher Tom, each group has a dedicated TA to practice with, so you don't have to worry about being alone.
• Time: Every Wednesday evening from 18:00 to 19:00
• Number of places: 16 + 4 backups (中央校區 students will be given priority)
• A senior student's honest opinion: "I really enjoy chatting with the teachers and TAs; the interactive atmosphere is great, and it makes me more confident in speaking English!"
② 介仁校區｜Fulbright English Speaking Practice Workshop
💬 Features: Experience authentic American English without leaving the country! Led by the American Fulbright ETA team, you'll get used to a natural English conversation rhythm.
• Time: 2–3 times per month, Thursdays 18:00–19:00
• Number of places: 15 + 5 backups (介仁校區 students will be given priority)

③ 建國校區｜Situational English Conversation Class
💬 Special Features: High-efficiency recharge during lunch break! Led by foreign teacher Huang Chenfeng, you will simulate real-life scenarios (such as ordering food or traveling), and learn to apply what you've learned immediately.
• Time: Every Tuesday, 12:20 PM – 1:20 PM
• Number of places: 16 + 4 backups (建國校區 students will be given priority)
A senior student's honest opinion: "You can practice English during your lunch break in just one hour. It's not stressful but very practical, and the sentences you learn are really useful in daily life!"
④ 介仁校區｜Culture & Conversation Cross-cultural Exchange Class
💬 Highlights: The most fun cultural party! Meet international students face-to-face, break down barriers through games and sharing, and naturally start speaking. (Organized by the Global Office)
• Time: Every two weeks, Tuesdays 18:00–20:00
• Number of places: 30 (介仁校區 students given priority)
Senior students' honest opinions: "It didn't feel like a class at all! We played games together, talked about culture, and before we knew it, we were speaking English. Highly recommended!"
